Our Mission Statement
The After School Program offers care for elementary students enrolled in Union County Public Schools. Our mission is to provide a safe, healthy, nurturing environment that encourages learning through social interaction and creative hands-on activities.

CHANGE FOR CHANGE
"Relay for Life" fundraiser
We are collecting monies to benefit the American Cancer Society.
Collection buckets for each group will be set out until early May.
We encourage the children to donate whatever they can to this worthy cause.

Fireman Visists on Teacher Workday
A big thank you to Jamil Hudson, (Ms. Katie's brother) for coming to share
with the kids on TWD. He works for the Stallings & Charlotte Fire Departments.
and had a lot to teach the kids about fire safety. We even got to learn about the
protective gear he wears, which he demonstrated as well.
Valentine Party & Dance
Edible Art Theme
Kids enjoyed creating edible art during this week's theme, including traditional gingerbread houses, tootsie roll roses and popcorn Christmas trees
with gumdrops, m&ms, pretzels and all sorts of candy. The creativity was delightful and they especially liked devouring their artwork!
Fall Festival
This annual event was once again filled with fun activities, games, food and an opportunity for the kids to
show-off their costumes. Soda ring-toss, cake walk, popcorn hands and face painting continue to be favorite activities.
